Project Management

Projects are at the heart of the way most organisations in the not-for-profit tackle their development and programme work.

Complex, high risk or long projects or campaigns require skillful project leadership and management if they are to be successful and achieve their objectives on time and within budget. Many projects do not deliver their full potential because the people who handle them:
  • are not given the adequate authority and support
  • do not understand project lifecycles and good project management practice
  • cannot see what creates failure in projects
Our consultants have specific knowledge, qualities and competence that allow them to handle the planning, people, performance control and quality assurance aspects of a complete project. They work within the brief of the client and their work includes the definition of the roles and responsibilities of the Task Giver, Project Leader, Project Manager, as well as the management of the team throughout the 5 following phases of a project:
  1. Conception – exploring, assessing and retaining ideas
  2. Definition – studying feasibility and getting to a viable plan
  3. Starting – building the team and identifying responsibilities
  4. Realisation – doing and monitoring the work
  5. Termination – reviewing, ending and reporting
